The Scali Law Firm expands into San Diego with the addition of Jennifer Burns and Paul Neumann

The Scali Law Firm is pleased to announce the addition of Jennifer Woo Burns (formerly Jennifer Price) as attorney of counsel to the firm. Ms. Burns has extensive experience representing car dealers on employment regulatory and compliance issues as well as litigating and arbitrating employment claims.

Ms. Burns represented businesses, including auto dealers, as outside employment counsel for several years, including as an attorney with the California New Car Dealer Association’s employment counsel, Fine, Boggs, Perkins, LLP. She also served as General Counsel at Cush Automotive Group, until it was purchased by Penske Automotive Group, at which time she became the Human Resources and Compliance Manager at Penske Automotive Group. Ms. Burns obtained her bachelor’s degree from The University of California at Los Angeles, and graduated from Loyola Law School in 1993. She will provide human resources and employment law compliance services for clients of The Scali Law Firm and will assist Mr. Scali in managing the employment litigation of the firm.

With Ms. Burns, Senior HR and Operations Specialist, Paul Neumann, joins the firm. Mr. Neumann served in several key operational positions with Penske Auto Centers before assuming the role of Regional Human Resources Director in the company's 20 state Western Region in 2000. In 2002 Paul transitioned to Penske Automotive Group in the position of Regional Human Resources Director for the company's South Central Region, then subsequently relocated to Southern California where he served as Penske Automotive Group's Regional HR Director from 2004 to 2014. Paul maintains a broad and very functional knowledge of employment related and compliance matters, coupled with years of operational experience in the retail automotive industry.

Ms. Burns and Mr. Neumann left Penske Automotive Group in 2014 to form Pacific HR Alliance, an HR and employment law compliance firm to provide high quality employment advice and counsel at low prices by utilizing systems and processes honed over years and tempered by their experience, updated periodically as laws change.  With the integration of Pacific HR Alliance into The Scali Law Firm, the firm not only obtains Jennifer’s and Paul’s high caliber talent, but their vision, systems and processes for providing low cost, high quality HR and employment services to the firm’s clients.
