Robert Mizar joins The Scali Law Firm

Mizar to bolster the firm’s litigation practice

LOS ANGELES, February 25, 2016 — The Scali Law Firm today announced that Robert C. Mizar has joined the Firm as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Bob is a long-time dealer advocate, and he will add his litigation and trial experience and auto dealer F&I compliance advice and counsel expertise to those firm practice areas.

“Bob has an outstanding reputation in the auto dealer industry in California,” said founding member, Christian Scali. “Bob’s experience advising dealerships has given him a deep understanding of the auto dealer retail sales industry in the sales and finance compliance arena.”

Bob has achieved much success defending the in-house automobile rental subsidiaries of auto dealers in claims based upon the negligence of its renters. This specialized and underutilized area of the law is something that he enjoys employing when possible to eliminate the dealer’s exposure to vicarious liability claims.

Bob also brings a significant amount of personal injury and property damage defense experience that will further round out the firm’s dealer litigation representation, complementing the firm’s consumer, employment, franchise and business litigation practice areas.
